Modern Home Foods was born out of a simple yet powerful idea — to share the authentic, preservative-free taste of Andhra homemade food with the world. Our founder, inspired by her mother's legendary recipes from the Godavari region, started making small batches of pickles and podis for friends and family.
The response was overwhelming. One jar led to another, one order led to hundreds, and soon Modern Home Foods was shipping to cities across India — and then across the world.
Today, we employ 30+ skilled women artisans from Vijayawada and Guntur — each bringing generations of culinary knowledge to every product. We use only the finest local ingredients, cold-pressed sesame oil, stone-ground spices and traditional methods. No factories. No preservatives. Just pure love and skill.
